Also my friend Jill lives with a host family, and I went over to her house today to work on a school project and realized that I am doing this all wrong. Well, some weekends are go to Munich or Hamburg or wherever and party weekends, and some weekends are stay in Berlin and do all the school work/presentations that you’ve been neglecting while you were traveling elsewhere in Germany weekends.

This weekend is of the latter type.

School really does feel like such a secondary part of life here, I really do sometimes legitimately forget about it.

I guess when you cook only for yourself all the time there’s no way to avoid having the same thing for dinner for a couple nights. I really don’t like eating the same thing twice in a row, maybe it’s like an OCD thing but I really just can’t stand to do it. But I also can’t stand it when my food goes bad, so therein lies the dilemma.

It was perfect.

Dwight and Angela’s wedding was possibly more perfect than Jim and Pam’s. Jim is the best best man ever for getting Michael there. As soon as he said the best man had to be older I knew.

Thank you Pam, for finally allowing Jim to chase is dreams without having to choose between them and you. The Halperts be going to Texas. I love Jim: “Is that why the house is always so clean?”

Michael talking about his “kids” growing up made me cry. But also I’m so happy that he has kids of his own.

I didn’t know whether to laugh or cry when Ed Begley Jr and Joan Cusack turned out to be Erin’s parents. I knew they were guest starring, but I assumed they were probably with the documentary crew or something. So that was a fun surprise.
